|Barrie B. Gehrlein, Esquire graduated from Lafayette College in 1984 and cum laude from Widener University School of Law in 1991. Barrie has represented plaintiffs and defendants in motor vehicle liability, premises liability, construction, product liability and commercial liability in Berks County since 1992. She has trial experience in seven Common Pleas Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In 2013, she opened the Reading office of Johnson, Duffie, Stewart & Weidner, a general practice law firm based in Harrisburg with a large insurance defense practice handling cases throughout the Commonwealth.
Barrie is a member of the Pennsylvania and Berks County Bar Associations. She chaired the Berks County Compulsory Arbitration Task Force and received the Presidential Award of Merit for her efforts in rewriting the Berks County Rules of Civil Procedure for arbitration. Barrie has served as an arbitration chairman in Berks County since 1994. She has also served on the faculty for seminars presented by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Berks County Bar Association.
