Jay N. Abramowitch, Esq.
|Jay N. Abramowitch, Esquire is a partner in the Wyomissing law firm of Leisawitz Heller Abramowitch Phillips, P.C. He heads the Civil Litigation Section of the firm and has taught and lectured in varying areas of civil litigation.
He received his B.A. with Honors from Lafayette College in 1964 and his J.D. from Dickinson School of Law in 1967.
For the past 30 years he has limited his practice to civil litigation in the areas of motor vehicle accidents, general negligence, and products liability. He is an active member of the Berks County Bar Association and has served on various committees involving civil litigation. He is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and an active member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
He is a member of the Berks County Bar Association?s Civil Dispute Resolution Program and has been certified as an approved arbitrator in Berks County. In that capacity he has arbitrated many disputes and served as an arbitrator in innumerable uninsured and underinsured motorist arbitrations, both in Berks County and other counties in Pennsylvania. He has authored numerous articles for Pennsylvania publications such as the Pennsylvania Law Weekly and the Pennsylvania Bar Quarterly in areas of litigation. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been named to America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals, and the National Registry of Who's Who.
