Become a Member
The following classes of membership are offered at the Berks County Bar Association:
||The following persons shall be eligible for active membership: (a) any person licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania who either resides or maintains their principal office for the practice of law in Berks County and who is neither an associate nor honorary member of the Association; or (b) judges, senior judges, justices or senior justices of the Common Pleas Court, any Pennsylvania Appellate Court or Federal Judiciary who either reside in or regularly maintain court in Berks County. The Board of Directors may from time to time establish additional categories of active members. Annual dues based upon admission to the Supreme Court.

|b. Government:||Employee of Federal/State Local Government or a legal services organization. More information here»|
The following persons shall be eligible for associate membership: (a) any person licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania who (i) does not reside or have a principal office for the practice of law in Berks County or (ii) resides in Berks County but devotes less than a majority of that person's time practicing law; or (b) any person licensed to practice law in good standing in a state other than Pennsylvania and who maintains an office in Berks County for the practice of law.
|The following persons shall be eligible for honorary membership: any distinguished lawyer or judge who may be designated from time to time by the Board of Directors. More information here»
To apply for membership please complete the application and return to the BCBA office. We request that no monies be sent with the application, as we will contact you and advise you on the correct amount to be submitted.

Our membership fee is based on your admission date to the PA Supreme Court.
